“Archer” is an attention-getting piece and hand wrapped in copper by Amanda’s Treasures. Two types of copper were used in this piece. The bail of Archer is formed out of copper that is woven in one of my favorite patterns. Genuine turquoise beads and beads of a deep burgundy color help form an upside down V shape. This type of tan arrowhead point is primarily found in the Taunton River basin of Massachusetts and into the Robbins Swamp region of Connecticut. The meaning of the arrowhead symbol signifies alertness. protection, defense, movement, force, swiftness, sureness, direction and power. One idea is that arrowheads ward off evil spirits if pointed to the left. Native American arrowheads were made of stone and were made in a vast range of styles and sizes. Handmade by Amanda’s Treasures.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF COPPER WIRE JEWELRY
Over time your copper pieces will patina. Please use a jewelry cloth to lightly shine your pieces, please do not use liquid jewelry cleaners. You will notice that you can not reach every surface with the jewelry cloth, the areas that are left untouched by the cloth will stay darkened, this adds a more dimensional look to your piece. I would not recommend you sleep or swim with your jewelry. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
