Jade is revered by many cultures around the world. These cultures include Mayans, the Maori of New Zealand, and of course, the Chinese.
This detailed red jade carving is from China and depicts Buddha with a dragon at his feet. I think of an artifact from an ancient ruin when I look at the stone.
Woven around this rich jade carving are tiny pure copper beads and intermittent dashes of copper weaving wire. Channel set into the bail is one shimmering deep yellow crystal that plays off the sculpture.
Handmade by Amanda with love and dedication.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF COPPER WIRE JEWELRY
Over time your copper pieces will patina. Please use a jewelry cloth to lightly shine your pieces, please do not use liquid jewelry cleaners. You will notice that you can not reach every surface with the jewelry cloth, the areas that are left untouched by the cloth will stay darkened, this adds a more dimensional look to your piece. I would not recommend you sleep or swim with your jewelry. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
