This is a vintage solid brass mask that has been partially restored to its former glory. It does have some chipped paint and small defects that give it character. I applied a high gloss finish to preserve the color and brass in its current condition.
On the left side, I have worked acrylic leaves onto handmade heavy gauge copper jump rings, making 13 leaves and jump rings into a chain with a tailor-made gold-tone tassel on the end. The dangles on the right side are made up of a lot of different materials among them are Austrian crystals, small acrylic leaves, hollow cut gold-tone metal leaves, one goldstone Calla Lily, large brass flower bead cap, brass and copper bead spacers, handmade ball and knot pins in gold-tone and copper wire. Original design handmade with love and dedication by Amanda’s Treasures.
I suggest my suncatchers are hung in a window, under an overhang or porch, as glass will eventually fade over time if continually exposed to the elements. The copper will age to a beautiful patina but will rust if consistently exposed to moisture.
