This suncatcher was named Slice of Life because of the shape of the top piece which resembles a slice of pie, this piece of glass came from an old sparkletts drinking water bottle the edges of which have been hand sanded. The second piece in this suncatcher is a large round lightbulb that includes a gear stitched into the design which adds to the old-fashioned look. To finish the suncatcher is a green crystal ball. With an overall look of whimsy and old world that mix very well. There is lots of vine-like detail work done on this suncatcher and each side is visible from the other side so that the sparkles from the many colors of beads are always visible. This would be the perfect eco-friendly gift for any occasion. Original design by Amanda’s Treasures.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
I suggest my suncatchers are hung in a window, under an overhang or porch, as glass will eventually fade over time if continually exposed to the elements. The copper will age to a beautiful patina but will rust if consistently exposed to moisture.
