This pendant has an exaggerated bail that is hand woven. Complementing the piece are vivid yellow beads that pick up the yellow color in the glass. The colors in the lampwork glass are white, yellow, black, orange and blue. Lampworking is a type of glasswork where a torch or lamp is primarily used to melt the glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is formed by blowing and shaping with tools and hand movements, this technique is thought to date to the fifth century B.C. Handmade with love and dedication by Amanda’s Treasures.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF COPPER WIRE JEWELRY
Over time your copper pieces will patina. Please use a jewelry cloth to lightly shine your pieces, please do not use liquid jewelry cleaners. You will notice that you can not reach every surface with the jewelry cloth, the areas that are left untouched by the cloth will stay darkened, this adds a more dimensional look to your piece. I would not recommend you sleep or swim with your jewelry. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
